About Us
Our history dates back over 60 years from our origins with Central Welding in Hamilton Ontario. This company was started in 1942 to supply welders for military requirements during World War II. Following the war Central Welding repaired and produced scrap chopper blades, expanding into shear blades, and knives of all types. Their continued expansions in the knife and blade market lead them to becoming The Machine Knife Company in the 1990s.In 2010 we relocated the now CWC Machine Knife Inc. with equipment and employees from the original Hamilton operation. We have increased our grinding and inspection capabilities, and continue to grow in our
new Brantford location.
